This privacy policy describes how Tag One Motorsport collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal information, in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (chapter P-39.1) and Law 25 (Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information).

By using our website (https://www.tagonemotorsport.com) and our services, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

At Tag One Motorsport, we take the protection of your personal information very seriously. In accordance with Law 25, this policy is intended to inform you transparently about how we collect, use and protect your data.

We limit collection to the information necessary to communicate with you and improve your experience on our site.

Through our newsletter sign-up form:

Through our contact form (Hospitality page):

  • your full name;
  • your email address;
  • the message you send us.

Through our booking form (Tag One Xperience page):

  • your full name;
  • your email address;
  • your driving experience level;
  • the message you send us (number of participants, questions, preferred dates).

Through our partnership form (Partners page):

  • your full name;
  • your company name;
  • your email address;
  • your phone number;
  • what you are looking to achieve through the partnership.

Automatically, as you browse the site (only if you have consented, see section 5): pages viewed, time spent, referral source, device and browser type, as well as interaction data (mouse movements, clicks and scrolling) recorded anonymously by our experience analytics tool.

Important note: we do not collect any sensitive information (banking details, social insurance number) on the website.

4. Purposes of collection

Your data is used to:

  • respond to your enquiries and get back to you;
  • organise and confirm your attendance at our trackside hospitality activities;
  • process your booking requests for the Tag One Xperience driving experience;
  • assess and follow up on partnership enquiries;
  • send you our newsletter, if you have consented to it;
  • measure how the site is used and improve its content, if you have consented to it.

5. Tracking technologies and cookies

We use cookies to ensure the site functions properly and, with your consent, to measure how it is used.

5.1 Essential cookies (always active)

These cookies are necessary for the technical operation of our site (hosted on Webflow) and to remember your cookie preferences. They cannot be disabled.

5.2 Analytics and audience measurement cookies (consent required)

With your consent, we use the following tools:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google): measurement of site audience, pages viewed and visitor referral sources.
  • Google Tag Manager (Google): technical management of how the measurement tools above are triggered.
  • Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft): anonymised analysis of the browsing experience (mouse movements, clicks and scrolling).

Prior consent: these tracking tools are disabled by default. They are activated only if you click "Accept" in our cookie banner.

You may change or withdraw your consent at any time through the site’s cookie settings.

Your data is never sold to third parties. However, for our operations to function properly, we share certain data with our technology service providers:

  • Webflow: website hosting.
  • Tally: hosting and processing of our forms (newsletter, contact, booking, partnership).
  • Google: audience measurement (Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager).
  • Microsoft: browsing experience analysis (Microsoft Clarity).
  • CookieYes: management of the cookie banner and of your cookie preferences.

Transfers outside Quebec: please note that these providers’ servers (Webflow, Tally, Google, Microsoft, CookieYes) may be located outside Quebec, notably in the United States and in Europe. These transfers are subject to assessments intended to ensure adequate protection of your information.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

  • Newsletter sign-up: until you withdraw your consent or request that your information be deleted.
  • Contact, booking and partnership enquiries: until you request that your information be deleted.
  • Audience measurement data: according to the retention periods set by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, and only if you consented to its collection.

Beyond these periods, the information is deleted or anonymized.

8. Your rights

In accordance with Law 25, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: obtain a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: have inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous information corrected.
  • Right to withdraw consent: withdraw at any time the consent you have given us.
  • Right to deletion: request that your information be deleted where its retention is no longer justified.
  • Right to portability: receive your information in a structured, commonly used technological format.
  • Right to complain: file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec if you believe your rights have not been respected.
