Tag One Motorsports Caps Its First Season with a Radical Cup Canada Championship!

Bowmanville, Ontario, September 7, 2026 — Tag One Motorsports closes out its first full season in the EMZONE Radical Cup Canada presented by Michelin in impressive fashion. Returning to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP), where the team's journey officially began last May, the Quebec-based outfit celebrates its first championship as Cédric Ohayon is crowned Masters champion following a season defined by consistency, progress and performance.

Behind the wheel of the No. 44 Radical SR3 XXR, Ohayon enjoyed a remarkable season, earning numerous podium finishes and several victories. His championship title rewards not only his on-track performances, but also the hard work he has put in with the entire team since Tag One Motorsports first took to the track in the series.

The final race weekend of the season perfectly showcased the team's progress. In the opening race, Alex Tagliani took the win in the Pro category, followed by his teammate Antoine Sénéchal in second. In Masters, Cédric Ohayon's third-place finish earned him the points needed to secure the championship before the final race of the season.

A Pro-Class Victory for Alex Tagliani

For Alex Tagliani, the end of the season represents much more than a series of results: it is a testament to how far the entire organization has come throughout its inaugural campaign.

“Winning is always special, but this victory is above all a great reward for all the members of our team who work extremely hard to put competitive cars on track. What makes me particularly proud is seeing the progress each of our drivers has made since the beginning of the season. We have learned a tremendous amount and improved both our cars and the way we work. The results we are achieving today demonstrate just how far Tag One Motorsports has come,” says Alex Tagliani.

A Championship Secured Through Adversity

For Cédric Ohayon, this first championship is the culmination of a season in which consistency and the ability to manage challenging moments proved decisive. Despite sustaining damage to his car during the opening race of the weekend, the No. 44 driver was able to maintain third place in the Masters category and, most importantly, secure the championship.

“We had a very strong start to the race and managed to build a gap at the front of our category before the car sustained damage. From that point on, we had to focus on the championship and manage the rest of the race intelligently. Being able to finish on the podium and, most importantly, secure the championship today is extremely special. It is the culmination of a full season of work with the entire Tag One Motorsports team,” says Cédric Ohayon.

A Second Podium for Antoine Sénéchal

In addition to celebrating Cédric Ohayon's championship, Tag One Motorsports had another reason to celebrate at the conclusion of the season finale: Antoine Sénéchal secured his second podium of the finale, capping off a particularly strong end to the season for the Pro-category driver.

“It's something we wanted to achieve throughout the season, and we managed to do it. Of course, we made a lot of progress throughout the season. At the beginning of the season, my goal was to be able to keep up with the pace and be in the top six. By the end, we were there to win. I learned an enormous amount from my engineer Racim Fezoui, as well as Maxime Vadeboncoeur, Alex Tagliani and Cédric Ohayon, who know the Radical very well. They are people who helped me throughout the year. I'm extremely happy to be part of this team. It's a dream that has come true, and I hope we can continue next year with the same pace we had at the end of this season,” says Antoine Sénéchal.

The weekend also marked the arrival of Olivier Bouchereau at Tag One Motorsports. Behind the wheel of the No. 93 car, Bouchereau joined the team for the final event of the season, adding another driver to the team's Pro-category lineup.

A First Season That Lays the Foundation

Beyond Ohayon's championship victory, this final event brings to a close a first season that allowed Tag One Motorsports to reach several important milestones. Since its official launch at CTMP in May, the team has steadily established its presence in the paddock, earned multiple podiums and victories, and demonstrated its ability to prepare competitive cars for all of its drivers.

This inaugural season also gave fans an inside look at the Tag One Motorsports operation through the documentary series broadcast on RDS. The episodes, which are now airing, offer an immersive look at the heart of the team and the championship, showcasing the highlights from race weekends as well as everything that takes place behind the garage doors and throughout the paddock. RDS crews are once again on site at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park to document the season finale and the conclusion of a historic first season for the organization.
