Tag One Motorsports Ready to Launch a Historic Season in Radical Cup Canada!

Tag One Motorsports launches its 2026 season at CTMP: 6 Radical SR3 XXR, podiums and RDS documentary series.

May 20th 2026.— Tag One Motorsports is proud to officially announce the launch of its 2026 season as part of the Victoria Day SpeedFest presented at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP), the opening round of the 2026 EMZONE Radical Cup Canada presented by Michelin, which took place from May 15 to 17.

For its first full season, Tag One Motorsports fielded six Radical SR3 XXR cars and a driver lineup combining experience, emerging talent, and a passion for Canadian motorsports. The team was able to count on Alex Tagliani behind the wheel of car number 8, Cédric Ohayon in car 44, Alexandre Moïse in car number 11, Denis Larue in car 23, John Benouald in car 93, Jean-Christophe Duchesne in car 11, as well as Antoine Sénéchal driving car 63.

While the challenge is significant, the organization enters this new season with a clear ambition: to become a leading team within Radical Cup Canada while continuing to develop a unique environment combining performance, business networking, and immersive corporate experiences for its partners and guests.

The team could also count on the valuable support of major partners such as Solulan, Perry Performance, A1 Simulation, Brand Digital, MR Wealth Management, APPCOM, Bet GRW, Farinex, Tag E Karting, and Just Simple Web, all of whom will contribute to the organization’s development and growth throughout this inaugural season.

The weekend also marked the official kickoff of a new documentary series currently being filmed with RDS, inspired by the Drive to Survive concept, which will immerse fans in the reality of professional motorsports. The series will highlight the key moments of each race weekend while offering exclusive behind-the-scenes access to Tag One Motorsports, its drivers, team members, and the Radical Cup Canada paddock environment.

Saturday, May 16: In the Pro category, during the first race, Alex Tagliani (#08) finished P3 on the podium. Antoine Sénéchal (#63) finished P4, John Benoualid (#93) P9, and Jean-Christophe Duchaine (#11) P10.

In the Master’s category: Cédric Ohayon (#44) finished P5 and Denis Larue (#23) P7.

Sunday, May 17th: Antoine Sénéchal returned to the podium with a P2 finish, while Alex Tagliani finished P5.

In the Master’s category: Cédric Ohayon finished P4, Denis Larue P8, and Alexandre Moïse P9.

“It had been a long time since I drove a high-downforce car, and as soon as I got back in one, it was love at first sight. It’s a very fun car to drive. It bridges the gap between karting and NASCAR because of the budget. Hopefully, we’ll be able to collaborate and bring more young people into the series, and hopefully help it grow, because the gap is quite big at the moment,” said Alex Tagliani.

Alongside on-track activities, Tag One Motorsports also officially launched its season during an evening event bringing together drivers, members of the FEL Motorsports series, representatives from Radical Canada and Radical UK, corporate partners, as well as special guests from the business and motorsports communities.

“After all these years as a professional driver, seeing Tag One Motorsports come to life is incredibly special for me. Being able to start building our own racing team while continuing to compete at the highest level, both in Radical Cup Canada and NASCAR Canada, represents a true dream come true. We have brought together a group of passionate individuals, strong partners, and a team that shares a common vision. We are ready for this new adventure,” said Alex Tagliani.
“It is a tremendous source of pride to have Alex Tagliani by our side as we drive Tag One Motorsports’ first year to new heights. From the very beginning, our vision has been to build a strong, professional organization capable of delivering a unique experience both on and off the track. We strongly believe in the growth potential of motorsports in Canada, and we want to contribute to its development and visibility alongside our partners, drivers, and entire team,” added Alexandre Moïse, President of Tag One Motorsports.

Tag One Motorsports continues its mission of building a premier organization in Radical Cup Canada while developing a distinctive corporate platform that allows its partners and guests to experience professional motorsports from the inside.

This adventure will continue from July 17 to 19 at Calabogie Motorsports Park!
